E-Mail Checker by Warrior
E-Mail Checker
by Warrior

The E-mail checker will check a form and reply back to the user according to the information they input. For example, if someone sends you an e-mail from an AOL account, the form replies back to him or her and say’s “Thank you AOL member”. The Action Script will detect which e-mail provider they are e-mailing you from. You can also allow only MEMBERS of certain e-mail providers to e-mail you. The Movie is well documented and you should find it easy to understand. Here is an example;

  1. // Array of e-mail providers that are stored to be recognised by FLASH
  2. // and greet the members. The Array starts at number 0 not 1.
  3. // Which means that in order for you to check an AOL account you would
  4. // Put the 0 in the brackets [0] <-- like that. To make it check for YAHOO
  5. // You would put [1] and so on.
  6. emails = ["aol.com", "yahoo.com", "bt.co.uk", "comcast.net"];

Test the movie below for any of these e-mail addresses.
